As we booked the hotel, we do not have any high expectations as we just wanted to quickly get a hotel booked near where we were with all the bulky luggages and get a cab there. As we were on the way to the hotel, we started to get worried because we went through the back streets and lanes to get there. As we've checked in, we noticed we've found a hidden gem. There's free shuttle to the nearest convenience mart at certain period of time. The hotel is clean and well equipped with basic facilities. The only downside was, I booked the room without breakfast and they gave me breakfast vouchers for the next morning. Feeling confused, I asked but they said it comes with breakfast so I could probably booked the wrong package so I ignored and went for breakfast the next morning passing them the vouchers that was given. While I was in the midst of having breakfast, they came to me and told me that I have to pay for my breakfast as it wasn't included. I don't mind paying but just hopefully they'll get the system right in future.

Came here with 3 other friends, this is my second time staying in the hotel. There’s no notice anywhere (on site, in room or at reception) that stained towels are chargeable. On the second day, my friend and I (2 of us have coloured hair) received a letter saying we stained the towel and the stain cannot be washed off, therefore we have to pay 250Baht each for damage. We spoke to the manager and he insisted that the hotel staff tried to wash it off but it did not come off. The funny thing is, the towels were in the same condition we left them. Did the hotel staff wash it or not? We do not know! My friend then asked if we could bring the towel to a laundromat to try and get the stain off, and he gave the green light. He also agreed to waive the fee if we wash the stain off. With just 2 packets of detergent, and our hands - we got the stains off. The next day, another manager was at the concierge while we checked out. We pass him our stainless towels, and told him about our agreement with the other manager. This manager then said the detergent has damaged the hotel towel and we still have to pay 250 Baht. We then questioned him about the damage he was talking about, and he could not answer us. We were not charged the extra 250 baht. Dishonest staff, bad service but reasonable rooms. If you have coloured hair, you’re better off staying somewhere else.

Although condition of hotel & the hotel's breakfast is better than the hotel we stayed in Malacca(can look @ my review & photos of the condition of the hotel on my TripAdvisor)but the location of hotel is just too deep inside the alleys,although there's 24HR complimentary buggy service but some since the hotel is so deep in & have to pass through turns & several different alleys,we had to be back @ the main road around evening time(before the sky gets dark)to call the hotel for the buggy to come get us...So we did go to any night market...

They have a great facilities in here. The people in here also nice but sometimes since it's a budget hotel, if you need to ask something, some of the worker feel like we ask too much for it (even for the complementary water). But it's a pleasure experience to stay here. They also provide you with "tuk-tuk" to go at the main street or nearby convenience store. So it's recommended to stay here

Had a pleasant 4D3N stay at Tarawish hotel. Near to pratunam market with great shuttle service to nearby 7-11. Staff was kind, helpful and friendly. Everything was good till the day of check-out. When we first check in to the hotel we request for the late check out as our flight back was late in the evening. Was promised to check out 1 hour late which is at 13.00 by the friend staff at the desk. On the day of check out itself. We receive a call at around 1209 from the front desk with very rude attitude telling us what time is it already and questioned why wasn’t we already check out. After explaining to the staff on the phone that we were given late check out, the staff did not appreciate and said that late check out was due to availability of the hotel and even told us all hotels works the same way. He even chased us to check out and threaten to charge us if we not down in 1230. Therefore if this is the case then don’t promise your guest that late check out is given. We are truly disappointed by the attitude and service of that staff which proudly give us his name: Pong. No sense of apologies with his attitude. I strongly urge that Tarawish hotel management can do something about it. Not to let such staff with rude attitude to ruin your hotel reputation! Do feel free to contact me if u need more assistant.
