The bungalows are new, spotlessly clean and cleaned daily, well equipped (no iron or hair dryer in the room) with toiletries, towels, seif, shampoo, soap, AC (not all bungalows have AC). The common area where is the restaurant and the reception is very romantic in the night, with all the warm lights and Chill music running at the perfect volume. There are scouters available at the property for rent. The owner, Red, is a nice man passionate about making all his guests feel comfortable and welcoming. He also helped us organise a trip to Emerald Cave, Koh Kradan and surrounding islands (where we did snorkeling) with a private boat by asking other guests if they want to join and by booking a boat. We paid 2200 baht/couple, pick up and drop off from/to the guest house, only 6 people on the boat, lunch and water included, pineapples and watermelons included.
The food is fresh cooked by Red's wife and is absolutely delicious. I don't eat spicy food and Red's wife really understood me and cooked my Thai dishes with perfect spices so I can enjoy Thai flavours without hurting my stomach 😅.
We were expecting many mosquitoes, but no, only at sunrise or sunset.
The accommodation is right in the middle of the island so one can reach any point of interest in a timely manner.
Don't expect anything fancy but an authentic experience.
We loved our time at Lanta Para Hut on Koh Lanta and we strongly recommend the place.
