I had to quarantine in this hotel but thought there is enough to review, even if is from an experience outside the norm. It might also help others who need to quarantine, make a choice. First the positives. The room I was allocated was clean and spacious with a huge balcony with uninterrupted sea view - this was appreciated in a quarantine situation. It had a table and chairs and also a handy drying rack on the wall. I also appreciated having a large bath tub with constant hot water and good water pressure from the shower. Another plus was a mini fridge. No problems with WiFi. Except for reception, most of the staff I dealt with were pleasant, though few spoke more than the most rudimentary English. The pool area, which I could see from reception as I was checking in, looked inviting - but I couldn't avail myself of it. The Covid testing in the hotel was conducted efficiently and my result delivered to my room about 6 hours later (I think for me this was speeded up as I was booked for my second jab the following morning) - I could hear other people being told it would come the next day. The negatives. The furniture and bedding were lower end, and there were a few issues, e.g. I couldn't get the 'lift and turn bath stopper' knob to turn (stopper was firmly down), so the water wouldn't drain. In the end, in order to save my nails, I managed to wedge in a plastic knife so the water slowly drained out. I had shown this to one of the 'food deliverers' - (who couldn't get the knob to turn either) and she managed to pull the stopper completely out, I guess using her nails - nobody came to fix it. I can appreciate that maybe in a quarantine situation, maintenance may not be as available as usual. I was glad I had a double adaptor plug on me, as there was only one (two pin) socket in a rather awkward position behind the desk, so I had to pull out the desk in order to be able to use the socket. The phone wasn't working, so when I needed to call reception, I had to use my mobile. Good my husband had brought me a kettle - no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and only one hot drink per day - coffee with breakfast. Only very basic bathroom minis - shampoo, shower gel and small soap - no body lotion or shower cap. Towels adequate - but just about. The main minus points were the rude reception staff and the food. There was no pleasant greeting or welcome smile on arrival as I had been used to in the hotel I had just left in Dubai, but surly and unfriendly demeanour particularly from one of them. He was very angry with my husband for coming into reception - mainly to take away a suitcase containing food which needed refrigeration and to bring me a few things. The only other quarantine guest checking in (on bus with me) had someone come to meet her in reception and no problem. (Reception was rude again to my husband when he called 3 days later to get information about the PCR test). With regard to this 'breach' in reception - one of the food 'deliverers' to my room, wasn't wearing a mask and when I had the problem with the bath tub, she came in and just put her hand over her mouth - so what's the point of quarantine I asked myself!!? The porters and the food deliverers were pleasant I have to say. However, the experience at reception reminded me a bit of a Tunisian Fawlty Towers - management are angry with the guests because they would be having a much better day if guests weren't there! Maybe unfair to judge the food brought in a box three times a day, but the main course was always stone cold, so unappetising. There was plenty of it and you could get by on the breakfast stuff and the salad and desert that usually came with lunch and dinner. You got a large bottle of water with each meal. The only hot drink was coffee with breakfast (on the trolley was a large coffee dispenser - so reasonably hot). I didn't ask for room cleaning, but I think you can go out on the balcony if you want housekeeping to come in - I just asked for my bins to be emptied every day and once for clean towels - although my 'clean' bath towel was covered with stains - at first it looked like blood or rust. On complaining and returning this, I was promised another one but never got it, so for last 2 days I had to manage with one tiny hand towel. I couldn't be bothered to complain again - I just wanted to get out at that point. The only reason I am giving this hotel a 'Average' instead of a 'Poor' is because of the spacious room, balcony and what looked like a nice outside pool area. Also, I assume the food served in normal times is a lot better than the boxed variety.

Getting here for a weekend the hotel become crowded on Saturday afternoon mainly from local customers. Structure and rooms are well maintained and clean,only note is from the doors,they don't protect from any sound from the hallway. The only swimming pole open (sea water)was tidy and clean,sadly on the whole structure we've find only two mattresses to place on the sunbeds. Music on the outside pole (as often in Tunisia) is always too loud.like being in a open air disco. Hotel personal at bar and reception are friendly and professional restaurant side they're understaffed and find a clean table is not always evident Food is varied and well cooked.

I came to this hotel more than 10 times and i really like to be here , i like all : people who work here , service , food , bar , animation , sea , pool ... I feel good when i come here that's why i don't want to change this place Thanks to everyone especially Ahmed and Chadda

Great hotel. The staff is very friendly and available at all times.(special staff at reception and bar) :-). Rooms comfortable and tidy.Excellent and large pool within the hotel as well as excellent animators.In the restaurant so much food that it only took me half an hour to study everything.The food is rich, varied,rich selection of dishes.Private beach directly opposite the hotel.
