Aselia Hotel

Its a good hotel for a short stay. Room sizes are good enough. Though not very clean. You can still find dirt on carpet and paintings on wall. However bed is cleaned on every day basis. The breakfast has variety. The mall is walking distance and so is the grocery store.

Room and toilet clean, good size, bed was okay, breakfast of turkish selections (cheeses, olives, jams, bread, and 3 hot local dishes that change daily). Tea served on tables. You may ask for omelette. Not sure if coffee is extra. In the vicinity: supermarkets (Migros in front and Carrefour opposite side of highway), Cevahir mall, and some restaurants. Other side of highway many convenience stores, bakery, pharmacies, and restaurants. Spa exactly as shown, no less or more (male and female not separate,but timing may be different. Two main issues. First is airconditioning, which as the practice starting in fall in hotels in turkey the cold air is Off and only heating is available. To cool the room you MUST open window. Fully open the window 180 deg by disengaging the lever. Our room which is facing highway and the sun would get very hot and uncomfortable by the time we return in afternoon. Opening window means the diesel, dust, and noise from 24 hours road works made the stay very uncomfortable. Worst, room cleaning service would open window, curtains, and even heating and leave it on. If you stay avoid rooms x10, x11, x12 and x13. Ours was 311. Second issue is the lifts. There is only one call button, one for each of the two lifts. Lifts are not synchronized or controlled together, and there is no way to tell if it is going up or down. Example you want to get to lobby, lift arrives, you get in, lift continues up. The arrows are meaningless. Wasting time and making crowds during busy times. The hotel is far from Meydan or Forum mall. You can get to meydan using the mini white vans (make sure they say Meydan on their window) costing 2.5 lira each way, ride on the main road, heading to the right (i think west), about 15 minute ride. Return from Meydan you ask for Cevahir service located parallel to Meydan on Kondara Cad (best to ask). It probably deserves a higher rating but the airconditioning issue was unbearable. We asked for alternate room, but all rooms were fully booked. We had to ask following day, we decided not as we were already settled in. Some rooms are tight, see photo.

At last we are in a hotel which is very nice and neet well organized it is clean staff very helpful and offer to assist. Rooms are clean furniture is modern and well kept .I suggest this hotel in this quiet area but I have 2 remarks first no concierge was available to take our bags to rooms 2nd connecting door becomes a source of noise

Nice hotel nice rooms .. everything was great Located was great there’s many restaurants and cafes near and supermarket and big shopping mall . Nice spa with several treatment rooms, and a large, modern fitness center The bad things the wifi was bad 🙄💔
