We treated ourselves to a night away and what a treat it was. Staff were all very pleasant and welcoming, food was great and our room (room 21) was stunning. The bathroom was very special. The hotel has everything you could hope for to enjoy a perfect night away. We enjoyed using the swimming pool and the outdoor hot tub before having a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant. We then enjoyed a few drinks at the George Hotels beer garden. We slept wonderfully in the huge comfortable bed and headed home feeling so very relaxed after a perfect breakfast. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and look forward to returning as soon as covid restrictions allow. Well done loch fyne hotel and thank you all for doing such a wonderful job.

Loch Fyne was very disappointing from the moment I booked. Firstly I was due to stay at another property which ended up closed due to covid. I called the hotel to ask what the room rate was and what was the best room they had (my wife and I were on mini moon after getting married several days before). The woman gave me a rate on the phone which was considerably more than the usual price comparison sites. Over £120 of a difference on a 2 night stay and I know the price comparison sites will take commission from the hotel itself. Woman on the phone said she would phone me back in 15 minutes and never did. When we entered the hotel after a long drive we were barely acknowledged at all. It was quite an awkward atmosphere to be honest. It felt like more of a "What do you want?" as opposed to Welcome to our hotel. As it was a special occasion I was more than happy to pay a premium for a better room or a room with a view, instead we ended up with a lovely view of the overspill car park. One of the only things the member of staff said to us at check in was apparently we had requested a wheelchair friendly room which it was visible all guests present didn't need an accessible room. When handed an invoice or ticket as such for my room the room number we had been allocated had been scribbled out 4 times on the same sheet of paper. I now see sponsored posts on social media for this hotel with offers including things like welcome drink, dinner included etc. if the staff had any idea of how to treat customers they could've offered my wife something on arrival. When we got to the room at first glance it matched the pictures and I thought it was ok. It lacked what you would expect in a 4 star hotel. No bottled water, no fridge. No menu for room service? When I tried to get over to sleep that's when I realised it was a total waste of money. We had a double room. 2 small twin beds noticeably pushed together with a gap in the middle and not even a full double duvet. The beds were not comfortable at all especially for a supposed 4 star hotel. We stayed at a Premier Inn for £29 when we first arrived in Scotland and the bed was 10 times better! I woke up both mornings with a sore back and I'm not overweight. Both nights we weren't able to get over until late as we could hear everything from other rooms clear as day! We could hear our neighbours partying until the early hours, having a shower, coughing etc etc. We used room service for dinner and breakfast mainly because we had our 1 year old daughter with us. The fillet steak was great but considering I ordered 2 x 3 course meals and drinks I thought especially with covid charging £7.95 for a tray charge was a bit petty. I left Loch Fyne feeling disappointed and that I should've just cut my mini moon short and just went home. Never again. The only chance I would return is to charge my Tesla and have dinner.

We stayed in the Loch Fyne Hotel for 2 nights in December. We felt exceptionally safe and the property was clearly taking Covid measures seriously. Staff were all very helpful and friendly, the bed was comfy and all the food was fantastic. Location is good and views across the loch are beautiful. The only minor criticisms were that there were children running riot in the restaurant all through our evening meal (which put a bit of a dampener on the lovely food). Also, our room was on a long, echoey corridor and the rooms are not soundproofed, so every time someone walked along or left their room, we were disturbed by footsteps and door slamming - luckily the hotel was very quiet, this would have been more of a problem if there were more guests. Room service was slow, but given the Covid-measures in place, the team were handling things well. Thankyou!

Surpassed my expectations. The staff were excellent, the menu although small because of the covid situation is good and the food itself is excellent. The location is beautiful . The rooms are extremely clean and well presented. Didn't use the spa on this occasion but will visit again for a longer stay.

We were lucky enough to stay in this stunning property over the weekend. The situation right on the front of the Loch is really special and Inveraray is always worth a visit and only 10 mins walk from the hotel. We felt so safe, so welcome and we found all the staff clearly proud to be working there. They were all so engaging and couldnt do enough for you. The Bistro served us some incredibly fresh & interesting food and the quality was something else. I enjoyed a sneaky and very welcome Hot Apple Cider which was so festive and warming. My son enjoyed a lovely swim in the pool and Jacuzzi and everything was so clean. Rooms were spacious and clearly recently uplifted. We would come back here in a heartbeat and highly recommend!
