I booked a hotel for a trip that was cancelled. They agreed to let me rebook on a different day. When I tried to book again they pretended that I did not exist. They just seem to want my money and don’t care about anything else.

Super Staff.clean rooms.helpful receptionist.Nice menager nad waitres dasha ibero The best service...she serve The best iicecream.Can not wait visit hotel again...and got amazing ice cream.miss them do much

Yes the hotel is a bit dated but bearing in mind the deal that is on offer it was well worth it, nice location, certainly clean enough and staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast and couldn’t fault the food at all. We had a room that someone else had complained about on here being freezing etc, yes it was very dated but it was warm and clean with a great view. Would we go back? Yes we would. Thank you to Danielle at the reception who was very friendly and helpful.

BEFORE YOU PART WITH ANY MONEY, CHECK OUT THE ROOM You are asked to pay in full at Check In not at the end of your stay. We were given Room311, we paid extra to have a Sea View double room. GREAT views from the 3 windows in the Bedroom BUT the room was SO COLD we had to keep the curtains closed to try and keep some heat in. There were 2 electric heaters that were on FULL 24/7 and there was still a chill in the air. The Bathroom was SO COLD we thought the window must have been broken but it wasn’t. We asked the Receptionist to be moved to a warmer room and we were offered Room 522 BUT we would have to wait 30 minutes while they switched the heating on to warm the room. Even after 30 mins this room was just as cold as the room we were already in so we declined to move. We asked to speak with the Manager BUT he was not in and would not be back to the hotel till the following day at noon. We left a message requesting to speak with him as we were NOT HAPPY with the room. The following morning we sat in the Reception area after breakfast (this was the WARMEST place in the whole hotel), waiting for the Manager to arrive. There were several people also wishing to speak with him so we sat patiently waiting our turn. After 1pm we decided to go out and get some Lunch and returned just after 3pm, we thought this would have given the Manager enough time to deal with the various people and we could now have a chat about our room. NOT TO BE, the Receptionist ( now someone different from before) informed us that he had left. There were no messages or the offer of an alternative room. We were again offered room 522 and told her we had already refused this room as it was just as COLD as the one we were in now. We asked if she could PLEASE find us a WARM room, we didn’t care where it was and we didn’t mind if it didn’t have a Sea View. We just wanted to be WARM, it was a bit ridiculous to be sitting in a room with your outdoor coat on to keep warm. We were informed that she would speak with Housekeeping and get back to us soon (WE ARE STILL WAITING). While waiting we decided to have a nice cup of tea to keep the chill off and me oh my the kettle didn’t work. We did get a replacement BUT this took over 30 minutes. We had plans to meet friends for Dinner so went down to Reception at around 6.30pm to find that the Receptionist had gone home. The STAFF in this hotel seem to work very short hours, including the MANAGER. We returned around 10pm and decided to have a night cap before returning to the DEEP CHILL. PJs on, socks on, extra blanket on top of duvet then into bed. The first Receptionist was back on duty the following morning, we asked if she had passed on our complaint and she assured us that she had. She was also surprised that the Manager had not spoken with us the day before, he was due in at 9.30am and she would get him to speak with us before we left. We again sat in the Reception area till gone 10am then decided to go back to the room and pack our cases and come down and check out. The Manager did come and speak with us when we returned. He told us of the problems the previous Manager had left them with and that they had only been open again for one week after having to close for over a month. We were very sympathetic to all that had happened BUT what was he going to do about the TERRIBLE stay we had. He said SORRY, if you come back in the Summer we will see you alright. I am only the Manager, the Hotel is owned by BESPOKE. We feel he should do the right thing and refund us our money. We WILL NOT be back in the Summer or EVER AGAIN.

Myself and three friends stayed here for one night on sat march 7th. We had two single rooms on the first floor and a twin room on the fourth floor. The bathroom in my room was so small that the sink was actually in my room. Must have broken many health and safety laws. The bed was awful. Shower curtain seen better days. We complained on the sat night about the standard of dinner and was met with a stare!! A party of four was split up for their dinner and we complained to the manager. He was nothing more than contemptable!! The coach tour clients were herded into the dining room like cattle and weren't allowed to sit at certain tables. The reason given for this was that those tables were for 'paying guests'.... Didn't we pay in advance for our dinners?? Definitely won't be back.... Hotel has went downhill.. Waited over ten mins at reception for a toilet roll! None in the cupboard..had to call a housekeeper... Very disorganised.... I definitely won't be recommending this hotel.. And I have emailed a complaint to Bespoke Hotels... I will also be contacting the Tourist Board.... Stay clear of this place...

Yes the hotel is a bit dated but bearing in mind the deal that is on offer it was well worth it, nice location, certainly clean enough and staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast and couldn’t fault the food at all. We had a room that someone else had complained about on here being freezing etc, yes it was very dated but it was warm and clean with a great view. Would we go back? Yes we would. Thank you to Danielle at the reception who was very friendly and helpful.
