Just back from a 2 night break at the Village Hotel Liverpool. The staff were all very friendly, professional and worked extremely hard, appeared to be under staffed. We had booked a Club room specifically for the need of a walk in shower, paid in advance, and on arrival was advised, once I reported to receptionist, that Liverpool didn’t have any club rooms. I was surprised that the web site didn’t mention this and still took the payment. Receptionist has said she will arrange for a reduction to be paid back onto the card I paid with.
