If you need a place to stay right off the highway it is a good location, however I believe the rooms could be a little cleaner. The shampoo in my room was used and there were extra pillowcases left on one of the beds which I could not determine if they were clean or not. The room also has a slight smell.

They change their room rate according to how busy they are. Tell you they have given you a free upgrade but then charge you for it. I won't be returning to any of their properties. Only plus is their pet friendly policy.

We stayed a night at this hotel during the recent partial shutdown of the I-15 caused by the snow storm. The hotel is conveniently located close to eateries and shopping outlet. The room assigned to us was clean and quiet. Having complimentary cookies to munch on after a long tiring drive was a warm touch. Breakfast was good. Loved the thinly sliced crispy bacon and the hard boiled eggs. In all, we had a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here several times since the first day when Ayres took over this property. I am always amused at things that are done to save money. How much is an extra roll of toilet paper, maybe 50 cents?

The Ayres hotel Barstow is conveniently located near the highway, near a bunch of restaurants and steps away from a Tesla supercharger. It has a very cold indoor pool and very pleasant warm jacuzzi. Small improvement opportunities include cleanliness of airduct vents, absence of complimentary snacks in the lobby (there was a sign but no actual snacks). Nice that they have suites with a separate bedroom and a sofabed. Refrigerator a bit noisy (but where not). Overall recommended!
