On 8/09/2020 I booked here because everything was sold out so I decided to give this place a try. I booked a king bedroom with my sister and two dogs since it’s pet friendly. When we arrived and tried to do check in “Milam” told us that dogs are only accepted on the two bed rooms. So we agreed to have our rooms switched and pay the difference. However she claimed that we had to rebook the room instead of doing a switch of the bedrooms because she couldn’t do it on the computer. I asked if I can get my refund for the room I had already booked so we can get the two bedroom and she said she can’t give it to me that I had to call. She then continues to tell me that I need to book another room if I want to stay with my pets So we tried explaining why she couldn’t just do the switch of the rooms and at that point she yelled at us saying we need to pay the new booking. We asked her nicely if we can have someone else speak with us because we felt like she wasn’t understanding plus she had already raised her voice at us and seem very frustrated. She had someone speak with us and we tried explaining however she said “let me talk” cutting off mid sentence. I felt disrespected and at that point we just wanted to get out of there. I told her to just cancel the room which she then said she can’t that I have to call and cancel. I had enough so I thanked her and walked out. We have prior hotel stays because we travel for business and we have always been able to switch up a room and not have to cancel and do another rebook. I really feel like this hotel needs to invest in better customer service that actually have the experience speaking with customers and do not yell at them.

Had a very nice stay at the Cajon Pass Inn. The staff was polite and gracious, and the place was friendly and quiet. The bed, bath, and room in general were all very clean and comfortable. Everything worked fine, looked just like the pictures. Check-in was quick, and was able to take the room as soon as it was ready, well ahead of the posted time. Early morning check-out consisted of leaving the card key in the room. Enjoyed watching the Trains - an attraction in itself. Will stay again in the future.

Do not stay here!!! Stay in Victorville at the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Victorville!!! The pictures do not look like the rooms. It smells. The guy at the reception desk (if that is what you call it) was rude and a jerk. The room I booked was 2 queens and they gave me 1 queen and charged me for 2 queens. They did not care and I will NEVER stay there again. Stay in Victorville about 8 miles away. Way better prices, way better hotel. Apparently this is not w Best Western anymore. I can see why.

Cajon Pass Inn, now owned by Bestern was a nice stay. The room was clean and simple and had everything we needed. Our stay also came with breakfast which included a great selection of cereals yoghurts, cooked food and other bits and pieces.

Room was booked though Best Western months before visit - is no longer a Best Western member and claimed that their system did not take over any bookings. Gave room away the day we were due to arrive. Then lied about it despite the fact that the cancellation email had only arrived that morning. Was busy in the area due to fires and left two overseas tourists late at night with no where to stay and no remorse. Appalling behaviour would not recommend at all.
