Check in staff was not cordial, almost unpleasant, uninformed about BW promotion, unhelpful. Hotel is nice enough; rooms are kind of blah. Pillows are wonderful but shower was awful. Handheld thing was clogged, didn't work; shower not possible.

We were looking for a pet friendly hotel near Joshua Tree and this was a perfect hotel. It's about a 15 min drive to the park. The rooms were clean. We were only expecting a two queen bed room but got offered a mini suite (two rooms - one room had 2 queen beds and one room had 1 queen bed). The kitchen was fully stocked with a regular fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove and sink. It also had silverware and plates. This was great because we were able to buy food and store which we needed because we would be out in Joshua tree for the whole day. The pool and gym were closed due to Covid. Parking was free. We felt that the hotel exceeded our expectations during the pandemic.

We stayed here so we could visit family. We were very pleased with the location. What really made our stay perfect was Nicky. She checked us in and from the moment we walked up she was so pleasant and nice. I have traveled slot and to me this top notch customer service makes for the best experience. Thank you Nicky for being so friendly and approachable. We appreciate you and will be back.

I have been staying at this Best Western on my visits to Joshua Tree and surrounding areas for years now and it is always good. Front desk staff is always helpful and friendly. Every time. So great! Now, with Covid, they are being extra careful - including plexiglass at the front desk, hand sanitizer available in the lobby. Elevator limit is 1 person. I took the stairs up to the second floor. Room was very clean. They were able to accommodate my request for an in-room fridge as well as a late check out, so that I could take a business call in the morning. They provided a nice bagged breakfast to go, with yogurt, a granola bar and a couple of tangerines, as well as coffee and water. Works for me! I hope this place keeps doing what they have been doing, because it is definitely my "go-to" hotel in the high desert. Can't wait for my next visit!

Nice staff and good room. Hotel property is kept up well. Close to many food locations. The only drawback was the driveway entrance. At first hard to distinguish from driveway to restaurant next door.
