It was located at the edge of town so very little street traffic . The room was clean and the beds were comfortable . Very close to two really nice golf courses . Two other courses just 20 miles away .

there was two girls working at the front desk. one was rude because I accidentally booked a smoking room (I suffer from migraine). The 2 girl went above and beyond service to get me into a non-smoking room, because of her I had a excellent experience. beside the mix up I caused for a non-smoking room.

The manager was wonderful. She was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Great air conditioning and lots of hot water. The breakfast could be improved with better cereal selection for adults.

Staff is always very accommodating and kind. We drive a box truck for deliveries from Utah and have stayed here more than once. We have brought children and our large dog before and it’s always a comfortable stay!

Locally owned alternative to chains impressed with warm and welcoming staff. Overall it was quiet and a good sleep. WiFi was strong enough for both of us to conduct work before continuing.

A floor lamp was missing from our room when we arrived, but the man at the desk found us one right away in a vacant room and brought it down to us right away. The phone was not plugged in and not near a wall with a plug, but no need for a room phone with cells, so that wasn't an issue. Not a brand new motel, but very well kept, and clean, and the staff friendly and VERY responsive. We'll come again if we stay in Montrose.
