Amazing customer service at check in. Building was clean and quiet. We had the spa jet bath with fire place room. Great view. Room was clean and fresh. Will definitely stay again. Breakfast buffet was tasty, food was nice and hot.

I love our stay. The staff, room, bed and breakfast was great as usual and this time we enjoyed the swimming pool. The breakfast was great did not have to go to Denny's like I had though the breakfast matched theirs. The staff was so nice and so helpful.

I booked a suite with the jacuzzi and fireplace on 10/22/20, and had high hopes for a nice visit and good standards in cleanliness, given the current health pandemic. NOT what I got. The room was filthy, with a very strong odor of mildew/mold. The remote was STICKY, with a small clump of human hair stuck to it. The towels were wrinkled and with long strands of black hair attached... not kidding. The furniture was the most funky and outdated I have ever seen in a hotel... literally Good Will material. The desk and chair were full of scratches. The couch looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, and was a very porous faux velvet, so you can imagine whatever might be on that couch. Pillows were falling apart and dirty. There were nicks all over the place, especially in the sideboard below the jacuzzi. ONE bar of soap... ONE. Had to use it for the hands, and skip the shower (not that I would have wanted to shower there. Shower was one you'd find in a shabby apartment, the glass door opaque with water damage.) My daughter-in-law cut her foot on BROKEN GLASS that was on the carpet. Witnessed was housecleaning placing clean linen on the concrete floor OUTSIDE. And (worse) beating dirty linen on the fence that surrounded the dumpster area. So... do they give it a shake and a whack and then place it on a bed?? The outdoor "patio" adjacent to the room was filthy and had not been maintained in who knows how long. And there was an ancient LOUD AC unit right there for all to see. I couldn't believe they wanted a $200 deposit for this dive, and I paid $280 for the room. I wanted to leave when I walked in, but I had searched and searched for a luxury room in the area, and was so tired, and wanted to just be done with it, figuring we would have an open mind. How could they "provide" such unsafe conditions right now, Re; COVID?? I felt afraid for myself and my family the whole night. This place was probably great in the 70s or 80s. Update or close. And CLEAN properly. I can't believe we didn't get any photos. Bring a thing of Lysol wipes to this place! I went to post above review on their website and I got this message when I hit "submit": Hey currently we are over worked - Please try adding reviews later. Thank you !

I'd tried to avoid writing a negative review in hopes of resolving our horrible stay at Bonanza Inn, but management refuses to follow through with a resolution. We stayed 1/9/2020 after a long day of renovations on a home we just purchased and needing sleep and to get cleaned up. We got neither. The first room we were given had a glob of hair on the bathroom floor and hair on the pillow. The TV wouldn't work either, requiring a maintenance to come "reset" the cable. I took the glob of hair in a tissue to the front desk and asked for a different room. I also asked the front desk girl if she could guarantee the room was clean and she said she could not! The new room seemed clean, but my faith in the cleanliness of the room was gone. The bed sheets were so worn and pilled that they felt like sandpaper on top of the rock hard bed with flat foam pillows. At midnight, unable to sleep, my husband got up and went back to our house to continue working. He came back in the early hours of morning to shower, but after running the water for 15 min, he only got lukewarm water. He warned me, and I too had the same experience. There were people outside my room at 4 am arguing and carrying on. If I could have joined my husband at that hour, I would have because sleep was never going to happen. I had a rash on my legs from the roughness of the shabby sheets. So - no sleep and no hot shower. I reported our discontent to the manager on duty and she was appalled at our experience and tried to refund our stay. She said she was not allowed access on the computer to give us the refund and we would have to talk to the manager when she came in 2 days later. She also said she would leave her a detailed message and have her contact us. She didn't contact us, so I made several calls to her in an effort to get our stay refunded. After several days, I spoke with her and she said she could only offer us a $20 discount and that anything further would require owner approval. She said she would get in touch with the owner and get back to us. Hasn't happened. I've tried calling a few more times and the phone either disconnects after numerous rings, or as of today, I was on hold for 5 min and finally gave up and decided to write this review. The hotel also boasts of having a chef on duty for the morning "free" breakfast. It was no better than any other hotel breakfast and had fewer options than most. Also, be aware that this hotel requires a $100 deposit for damages on top of the room rate. I've never heard of such a thing. The desk clerk said it was fully refundable after 3 days, if the room was found to be without damage. Do not stay at this hotel. Any other hotel in Yuba City has to be better than this. We would have stayed at Best Western, had they not been fully booked. Not only did we not get the 2 things we went to the hotel for - sleep and a hot shower, but management has been unprofessional and inattentive to our request for a refund. It's apparent the owners have no clue about the hospitality industry.

We watched two graduations. Room had really good hand rails for bathtub and toilet. Handicap room 124. Only noise was Monday morning trash pickup. Great food assortment. I had waffles (found that I could make just half of one), scrambled eggs, potatoes obrien, pork sausage, OJ, milk. We asked for and received an extra chair, towels for pool, ... careful they will give you more shampoo than you want.
