We visited in the third week of May 2021, as Covid restrictions were starting to lessen in much of the country. Despite being told by someone in Cambria Reservations that our price included breakfast and the use of the pool, neither of those things were true. The restaurant and pool were both closed. We contacted Cambria and they have offered to "drop" some points in our account, though we haven't seen them yet. The other thing that was problematic was housekeeping. We learned upon check-in that we could get our room cleaned twice during our one-week stay. It only happened once, and not when we were originally told it would happen. We had to go to the front desk to request soap, toilet paper, and fresh towels. Also, there is one very small trash can in the bathroom, and we had to empty it ourselves several times. Really, there should be an extra trash receptacle in the main room. Perhaps they could have "light" housekeeping a bit more often. No need to change sheets and vacuum, but empty the trash and make sure there are proper supplies in the bathroom. Otherwise, the room was plenty large and comfortable and the staff was pleasant. The best thing about the hotel is the location in the heart of Rockville Town Center, and walking distance to the Metro. We sure would have liked to have had the breakfast included, as promised, and our young grandson was pretty bummed about the pool being closed, but that wasn't their fault. They should absolutely give out correct information, though.
