Stayed here because I had an early flight out of Ontario. Hotel is clean, rooms are nice, and front desk staff is friendly and attentive. Sumiko at the front desk is a 10 out of 10. She was friendly, professional and on top of it . Only downside was Jackie in the Bistro. When I called to order an omelet from the breakfast menu, Jackie told me, and I quote, "We don't have a chef this morning. Only cold foods and pastries are available. We have a low occupancy so we are able to do that". Huh? You are ABLE to not serve breakfast? It was actually almost funny because when I challenged her back about being "able" to not serve a cooked breakfast, she didn't see my point!!
Hotel was nice, Sumiko was great. Been in 57 countries and never stayed at a hotel that didn't have a cooked breakfast, let alone touted being "able" to not have to provide a cooked breakfast"!
Management needs to train their staff to just say "we are so sorry but our Chef did not come in today so we aren't able to provide you with a hot meal for breakfast".
