Worst hotel ever! I was in room 22. When I checked in, the man's attitude was as if I was bothering him. He made me feel that I was lucky to be able to get this room using Wyndham points because he could get $600 from a normal customer. The lights next to the bed did not work. I called him; he said that don't check those things when they clean the room and that I should find out why they don't work. I pulled the bed away from the wall and found that the wall outlet was broken and that the 2 lights were plugged into the double tap fixture that broke the wall plug when the bed was pushed to the wall. The light on the phone was blinking so I call the desk, he told me that they don't have that feature and that I should ignore the blinking light. There were two wall plugs in the room; one was behind the small refrigerator and hard to get to. Needed to charge our cell phones. The 2nd plug was by the bathroom door but was 7 feet off of the floor; that was the same plug that was next to the coffee machine but it only had a 12 inch cord. I don't even want to start describing all the issues with the bathroom, not a healthy place. The wifi did not connect to the internet therefore I could text my family but could not search the web for areas to visit in Tahoe. The picture on the TV was ok but partially washed out. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, the refrigerator worked and the cleaning staff were friendly and accommodating.

I arrived in Tahoe on a snowy, Friday night at 11pm to find that I was locked out of my friend's cabin, and couldn't reach her. I had my child with me and I was worried everywhere would be booked and we'd be left in a storm in our car. I called the Days Inn reservation line at about 11:30pm and they booked a room for me. A few minutes later, my friend called and I was able to get in the house. I called the reservation line immediately to ask if I could cancel- they said I had to call the hotel. I called the hotel, they said I had to call the reservation line. I called the reservation line again - they sent me back to the hotel. I called the hotel the next morning and they said, "sorry but you didn't give us the required 48-hours notice." They took my money, even though I tried to cancel within minutes of booking. I asked to speak to the manager, so they gave me a generic email address to write to - management@tahoehospitality.com- but refused to give me the name of the manager (likely they receive multiple complaints). To no surprise, they never responded. I gave them 2 weeks to respond before writing this complaint. I don't know about you, but I would much rather spend my money on a business that isn't just trying to suck you dry, with no humanity. I've worked for hotels in the past, and this is unacceptable. Spend your money elsewhere, where they actually care about their guests.

The worst experience ever; I was over charged $700.00 and had to wait three days to get my money back. The room I given had a broken AC unit and the TV didn’t work. No one was available to check out. Management was not available. Worst place to stay in Lake Tahoe. Don’t thing about it just don’t reserve here it’s horrible!!

It worked for this trip but no too sure if I'd stay there again or recommend to anyone for that price. Seemed kinda of pricey for the condition of the property, lack of amenities. Biggest benefit was close to CVS and beach.

The smoke detector was missing, the two lamps that were in the room did not work, the outlet in the bathroom area only had one working plug, there was no phone in the room and there were stains on the bedding. I complained to front desk he stated he will put in a ticket. No one in maintenance came but the maid tried to help us but was unsuccessful. Could not find another room or else I would have left. Definitely not worth the money!!
