Nice clean place with a microwave and refrigerator in the safest part of Chicago. It's also only a 2 minute drive from shopping and restaurants.

Close to public transport, there are food places nearby and the surrounding area looks and feel safe. The staff were professional and very friendly. Bed was nice, room overall is a great transient room, highly recommend to people that needs 1 - 2 nights.

I like that there is usually a room available even last minute with excellent nightly rates. Would have liked 2 plastic cups instead of 1 and a hand towel. There were 2 bath towels and a washcloth. There was a lightbulb missing from one of the lamps but I love having a mini fridge for keeping beverages cold.

Overall, the place was good considering the budget price. The condition wasnt bad for an old cheap motel, and it was cleaner than expected. However, there is no control over temperature in the rooms. We stayed in early summer during an unusual cold spell and the room temperature dropped to near or below 60 degrees every night with cold air blowing hard (directly across the bed) and no way to turn it off. The thin blanket provided was not nearly enough for us to stay warm. I assume maybe the heating system had been disabled due to it being summer, so this may not always be an issue, but a number of other reviews mention the AC is insufficient as well.

Room did not look like pictures at all. Wasn’t the worst I’ve ever stayed at but probably wouldn’t stay again. Room was extremely outdated and musty. Lost of damages to the room also: hole in bathroom door, only 2 outlets in room total, only 2 lightbulbs total, and no real thermostat/ac, just a box fan.
