We stayed a Friday and Saturday night for a family weekend getaway for our son’s birthday on July 31 and August 1. I booked our room directly through the hotel. We receive the family employee discounted rates through Marriott, when I spoke on the phone with the person I booked through I was told that I could use the discount on Friday night, but not Saturday night we would need to pay full price with no explanation as to why. (This is not normal practice for the discount) So I booked the room and decided I would discuss this with the front desk or management at check in. I sent an email to the manager with our discount form they must have at check in asking for them to reply to email confirming they received it and asking about the discount situation. I never received a reply. I also called ahead to make sure the pool would be open and was told it would be. Even better it was to be open until 11 pm while we were there. The location is great very close to a lot of stores and restaurants. Check in was easy, Alexis was great and took care of my concern with pricing without me even having to bring it up, she talked to her manager and came back out to say that we would get the discounted rates for both nights. She was very attentive and friendly. The room seemed clean, and spacious but I was ver disappointed the room did not have a microwave. Since we are still in the opening stages from COVID, I was pleasantly surprised to see they were still doing breakfast in the morning. All cooked by an employee and put in a to go container for you. Perfectly done! The woman working breakfast on Saturday morning (I didn’t get her name) was very nice and friendly. Friday night we were able to swim in the pool, no problems there other than the water around the edge of the pool is not draining into the drain holes as well as it should, but no big deal. Upon coming back to our room Friday night, we did notice a few ants in our room, so we had to be careful with leaving any kind of food out. We were gone most of the day on Saturday and came back to the room to swim a bit, we go down to the pool around 10 pm walk right past the woman at the front desk obviously dressed in bathing suits with towels in hand and she says nothing, we get to the door of the pool and there is a sign that says the pool is closed for maintenance, well the same sign was on the pool Friday and we were able to use it. There was nobody working on the pool at all, completely empty. So, I walk up to the front desk and asked if the pool was closed. She replied “yes” in a very stern manner, no apology, no explanation, nothing. So, we couldn’t swim that night like we planned. Saturday we were still experiencing the ants in our room, but it was late, and I really didn’t want to deal with the hassle of having to move rooms. I would also like to note that the hotel has some great outdoor seating areas and just about every other hotel I’ve ever been to after it rains someone goes out and wipes the outdoor furniture with a towel so it is able to be used again, that wasn’t the case here. The outdoor areas stayed wet all weekend long, we had to bring our own towels out to wipe the chairs to use. All in all, this hotel could be a lot better if the management put a little more care into the comfort of the guests. I would also like to not check out was not as easy as check in was, I received my print out (which I had to request and it was not slipped under my door like everywhere else) and I was still being charged full price for Saturday night. So, the attendant had to fix it and refund some to my card, etc. just a long process. However, upon looking at my bank account today I’m being charged MORE than the original amount I was given with the one discounted night plus one full price night let along definitely not the amount the front desk gave me after the refund. So, I will give it about two business days to sort out with the refund and all but if it is still wrong, I will be calling the hotel again.

Stayed here for 1 night. Upon check in was told by front desk hotel offered hot breakfast including waffles and hot sandwiches. Went to breakfast room in morning and totally disappointed by the 4 ounce plastic cup of OJ and 2 sandwiches. No bagels which Front desk also said would be present. But what totally ruined stay was rude and aggressive breakfast attendant. She raised her voice twice to me and I left room for calmer conversation at front desk. I Felt offended and was shown a total lack of respect by this associate. A Marriott Titanium Member.

Great hotel, very nice breakfast (thanks for the fresh omelette), clean comfortable room, friendly staff. Got to the hotel late after driving five hours in really tough conditions and it was an oasis of calm and hospitality. Very convenient to I-270 and area restaurants / shopping. Highly recommended.

I stayed here for a two day training session for work. The hotel is fairly new and there are numerous eating options on the opposite side of the street (busy highway). I wouldn't recommend walking to the area restaurants but the drive is less than 1/4 mile. No complaints other then the gym is not a gym; there are 2 treadmills, one elliptical and a few hand weights if you want to do curls standing in the 4 foot section between the machines and the wall. I would stay here again but i would use the Golds Gym down the road to get my workout in.

My husband and I stopped at your hotel for the night with our 3 month old. We got the room we requested at the end of the hall on a high floor to try and keep our son from disturbing too many people but the most important thing we were so grateful for was the associates. Cesar checked us in and he was so kind. He put up with the fact that I didn’t realize my employee rate card was expired and kindly directed me to the business center to print out a new one. He also took the liberty of bringing a pack n play up to our room himself and offered to take our luggage cart back down with him. Everyone I came in contact with was cordial. I don’t have their names but just wanted to point out how wonderful your associates are from the breakfast area attendant, the housekeepers, and the front desk staff. Everyone said hello to me and sounded so kind when they did it. Thank you all.

Great hotel, very nice breakfast (thanks for the fresh omelette), clean comfortable room, friendly staff.
