My wife and I who are self proclaimed Hotel snobs, stayed here for three nights in May. We did an adults disney trip and its going to be hard to stay anywhere else. The grounds and room were fantastic. Probably the second best room I've ever had, it was a standard room, yet had a view of epcot and MGM. Check in was a breeze even though they still impiled Draconian COVID restrictions semi surprising for Florida, where we had to wear a mask indoors and get temperature checked.
The girls at the pool from Charleston whose name I cannot remember took great care of us, and greeted my wife by name when she arrived after her fantastic time at the spa. Service was a touch slow at the pool but hey its post covid and short staffing is the norm.
Our room was immaculate as was the rooftop bar/restaurant. We couldn't get a reservation at the restaurant or bar, yet were able to get a drink when we just showed up. Theme park shuttle was far superior to the typical disney bus. We took the bus to the parks both days we went although had to arrange our on transportation back due to lack of planning on our part.
Onto the Almost perfect. Upon arrival we ate lunch at the outdoor grille, my wife ordered patron, which they didn't have in stock(that happens). After her spa appointment when she came to the pool she ordered the same thing, they brought her the drink(we didn't know at the time they utilized the same bar). However upon trying it, the tequila was not Patron. The waiter apologized; we would have been understanding if they said we don't have any, but to try to pass something else off is not acceptable.
Our second night we used the car service to return from Disney Springs to the hotel; however they sent us using the text service to one side and the car to the other side of disney springs, and once we figured it out, we had to walk clear across Disney Springs, we don't mind walking but had been centrally located.
On the final night we ate dinner in the Italian place downstairs(we were told they were going to take care of some of our dinner for us due to the aforementioned poor communication on their part)l, my wife who wasn't feeling good asked for the squid pasta, but just the pasta plain. They charged us full price for just the pasta nothing else. Granted its the Four Seasons, but let us know it'll still be full price.
The service was great not quite as good miami, but very good and you didn't feel like you were at Disney with screaming kids and people everywhere.
