Oveall we were pleased with our stay the one night. They seem to be remodling the place and there were a lot of guests staying there. The walls need fresh paint because the pink is a bit outdated. Our bed was not the best but not the worst either.

I may be different than most, but a hotel is for sleeping and not about views. We had a clean and comfortable room which is all I cared about. The place has seen better days, but that is not the fault of the staff who were super. We are definitely going to return

To be fair my room was clean and the housekeeping staff was really sweet. The rest of the hotel that I’m assuming maintenance is responsible for is absolutely filthy. To the point the place the place smells bad like “sour” trash cans. The continental breakfast has no hot items. Only cereal, low grade fruit, and cold hard boiled eggs out of a package. I don’t mind the fact this place is really outdated because the price is fair but there really isn’t any excuse for how filthy dirty it is. Even the grounds is dirty to the point I didn’t want to use the pool.

My son was on leave from the army and both of our birthdays are coming up, so I set us up for a couple of days. My wife and I brought our waverunners to play on the lake. We arrived at 9AM expecting not to check in that early, however we did stop there to confirm our reservations (we were good to go). So after playing on the lake all day we came back to the hotel to check in, I dropped my wife off in the front to do this. By the time I was done parking, she was finished checking us in. The location is perfect. A short walk to the water. I've read the reviews on this place prior to booking it and decided to take a chance anyway. I'm glad I did. We did have to cut our trip short because of the bad weather. Thunder, lightening, and heavy rain ruined our trip. The room kept us dry that night. We ask for a partial refund for leaving a day early. Because we booked with them directly we were able to get refunded a little quicker. The staff was understanding and nice about it. This place isn't a 4star resort and it is a little dated. The staff was more than helpful and the breakfast was pretty good. There is plenty of room to park boat trailers in the back

Expected a little better for the area, being on the island. Location was good. Room was smelly. Carpet was dirty. Carpets and flooring in hallways and lobby were even worse. Bed was clean and comfortable though. Breakfast was good. Would choose somewhere else next time.
