The hotel itself is beautiful, and we enjoyed having everything for a cocktail at the bar. We had an unforgettable trip. The perfect hotel! Although ive stayed in nyc numerous times, we are already eagerly anticipating our next trip to nine orchard and the lower east side. We were made to feel right at home by the welcoming staff and service. From the exquisite linens, speaker, and music in the room to the specialty minibar and steamer in the room, every detail was meticulously considered. We felt like we had our own place in the city and could stay for weeks comfortably.

My favorite place to stay in NYC. The comfort and elegance is deeply seductive — I didn’t want to leave! Everything about this place is cool, artistic, elegant, sophisticated. Maybe next time I’ll get a room with a bathtub, but cannot think of a place I would rather stay. Swan Bar is stunning.

I travel a lot, and this will be my new go-to hotel whenever I am visiting NYC. The room was bright, impeccably clean and gorgeously decorated while still feeling cozy and welcoming, with amenities that went above and beyond (plus, the high ceilings and large windows were such a contrast to most NYC hotel rooms). Incredibly courteous, friendly and helpful staff (not aloof and snooty at all). Cool neighborhood. This place is a total winner.

We had one night left to book in nyc after returning from staying at the inness in upstate at the end of our honeymoon and stumbled upon this new hotel opening. It has been beautifully restored, the attention to detail, and the curation of all the spaces is truly stunning. We also ate at the inside corner bar and it was great, although it could use more veggie / vegan options. Sidney was a delight, such a nice employee and very helpful when checking in. The rooms were so thoughtfully created, the speakers / sound system and playlists were great, and the touch of having a cookie left on our nightstand was lovely. Comfortable beds and nice hot showers. Views from this location are also very beautiful, especially if you are staying in one of the rooms higher up. I think the swan room could use a bit more strict on photos, especially if you are staying as a guest, as the room is so photogenic. I think they have some prominent / celebrity clients stay occasionally and may have decided to make this rule to protect their privacy, but for those who are interested in interiors and architecture it is a bit sad to not be able to document your stay freely. We were waiting to leave to go to the airport and watched what we presumed to be a senior member of management completely berate someone from the porter or restaurant team, the tone in which she took with the employee was very uncomfortable and very disappointing to see. I hope they are treating their staff with kindness and appreciation and this one, very toxic display of communication was a singular event i hope they are treating their staff with kindness and appreciation and this one, very toxic display of communication was a very uncomfortable experience even the staff at checkin looked very uncomfortable after the interaction. Overall i would recommend a stay here but i think the internal culture needs a review and an attitude change among some staff.

This hotel is quaint and delightful. The rooms exude warmth and elegance, making for a charming stay. The staff members are friendly and welcoming. While it may be pricey, if it fits within your budget, it's definitely worth the splurge. Overall, a fantastic choice for accommodation!

Nine Orchard is one of the nicest hotels in new york city. Combining luxury with exquisite taste and a city vibe, you will enjoy every minute of your stay. The Swan room has to be one of the prettiest bars in new york, and the staff just makes you feel so welcome. Bruce the new manager was so welcoming and the feel is so personal, we cannot recommend this hotel enough.
