Mike and Fran were wonderful hosts. They are very thoughtful and detail-oriented and it shows! When I arrived, they introduced themselves and gave me a tour. The place is well-maintained inside and out. Mike is a builder/ woodworker, so it's infused with his artistry.
They have water, coffee, tea and creamer easily accessible in the dining room downstairs, as well as a place to relax indoors and play board games. Their back porch is screened-in, which is great because otherwise the mosquitos in this area will eat you alive. There are lots of comfortable seats, and a day bed! For less mosquito-y seasons, the gazebo looks inviting as well.
When we came back late in the evening, romantic music was playing in the house, which set a lovely mood. The room itself was CLEAN, luxurious, and welcoming. The shower has two heads! And a heater! And a place to sit! It was fantastic! The next morning, Mike served us a delicious breakfast made by Fran (I am stealing her recipe ideas because hubby loved it). They even accommodated his lactose intolerance.
I hope to return for our anniversary or other special occasions in the future!
