We had booked three rooms at the hotel via website. When we arrived late in the evening, after an 8+ hour drive to check-in, the general manager, Chris Muchow, told us that our reservation was only for two rooms and that the hotel was otherwise full. He was not accommodating or apologetic and proceeded to give us a very bizarre run around with a continual attitude. When we tried to remedy the issue via the customer service of the website we also could not get a definitive answer or solution and their attitude was combative. Eventually, as we were discussing our options the general manager had proceeded to cancel our reservations on the two rooms that we had contractually booked and said he could “no longer deal with this.” As of this morning we have not been refunded for our rooms.
I would never recommend this place to anyone passing through Winnemucca.
