We stayed here for 1 night and I will tell you it was stepping into the past! It’s a small town, and the history is everywhere you look! It’s truly a gem and the rooms are wonderful and the manager and staff were SUPER friendly!! I would stay here again!!!

I loved this place. Super charming and fun, the folks who own the Inn are really friendly and lovely, and this place is the heart of the town. While it's no luxury resort, it's clean, comfortable, and the hospitality is great. Connected to Yesterday's restaurant, which is at the heart of the town and open late-ish with food and drink, they also have live music which was fun. This is a sleepy, charming little town with a movie set ghost town in the middle of the desert - I loved it and would recommend it and would happily go again.

If you have the chance, visit this place. A very charming little hotel and restaurant. Everybody in the town is very friendly and nice. If you can, take a Saturday (1. or 3.) where there are gun show at noon.

This is a great portal to Grand Canyon Skywalk:: Get there after breakfast and before Las Vegas crowd. Great "Old West" feel: Not luxury, but luxury would ruin it. VERY friendly owners and staff. Quiet and restful. Yesterday's is a great "meat and potatoes" western food. Very well prepared with great, personal service -- they care! Would be a great alternative for a roadtrip stop going through Las Vegas headed for Grand Canyon and points East. Great value.

Chloride is a little town that is worth the detour. Shep’s is the core of the town with its cute bunkhouse converted into a small motel. There is also Yesterdays Restaurant adjacent to the hotel that serves a free hot breakfast to all guests. The rooms are in a unique setting, a u shaped building that surrounds the restaurant building. The walls are all adobe, very solid! Rooms all have portable ac units and ceiling fans but in cooler night weather you can leave the windows open. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Bathrooms have clean showers with very hot water. Rooms have TVs and fridges. We stayed in a larger room which had a three bedrooms lined up and you have to walk thru them all to get to bathroom. Perfect for a family but not necessarily good for 2 couples. Service is very friendly and everyone is very open to share about the town and its unique sites.
