Be aware that, because of covid precautions, breakfast consists of individually wrapped granola bars, instant oatmeal, and coffee. The nearest breakfast place is the Mountain Gate restaurant in Thurmont, about 15 mins. south.
We had an "accessible room". The armchair was badly positioned, so that you had only about 16" to squeeze past it and the desk. The desk isn't set up for plugging anything in; had to run my laptop cord to a plug in a different wall, making a great tripping hazard.
Although our room shared a wall with the gym, the gym and pool are both closed for now, so no noise complaints.
Our mattress was one of the best hotel mattresses we've slept on in quite a while; just the right amount of firmness.
The hotel is about a 5min. walk from a grocery store and a strip mall that includes a tiny pizza/sub joint, a chinese place and a Subway. It's also a VERY short drive from the Mother Seton Shrine, with Marymount College and the Grotto not much further away.
