My husband, son, and I spent 8 nights here at the beginning of May (for three days at Disney and two at Universal Studios). It was ok for sleeping, which is all we basically did there. They would not clean the rooms at all because of COVID, even if we were not in the room (and gone for 10 hours at the parks). We wanted a clean room halfway through so they let us switch rooms, which was a pain. I also borrowed a broom and dustpan at one point to sweep the room. They would not bring you clean towels so you have to leave your towels outside the room and get fresh ones at the front desk. The fridge was so small we couldn’t wedge in milk and Diet Coke. While the hotel is almost directly across from Universal’s Endless Summer resort, it’s in kind of a sketchy corner. One morning when we left, there were approximately 10 cop cars parked around with cops looking for something/someone. You can walk to Universal (it’s about 1.2 miles on a sidewalk), which we did but I wouldn’t do that as a single woman. Free parking was a plus and there is a shuttle to the parks, but we didn’t use it, as it didn’t run early and late enough for us. My son did LOVE the pool and I think preferred it over the parks!
