All but one of the hotel staff were wonderful, they created a pleasant atmosphere. My room was very comfortable and appeared clean. The head of housekeeping was so sweet! My only complaint was....the battery in my rooms smoke detector went bad. When I let the front desk know she actually handed me a battery and stated that I’d have to change it myself. 😳 My little doggie was terrified by the noise. After discussions she finally changed it! It was on the ceiling and she thought I’d change it! Other than this my experience was fantastic!

I just completed my stay in Reno NV and while I was a guest at the Staybridge Suites it was like coming home . This place is great the staff is wonderful and very accommodating. I was there guest for 6 months and although the perks they offer weren’t available due to statewide pandemic reasons the hotel still is a very comfortable place to stay . Very convenient to restaurants and grocery stores and close to highway 395 . Very safe lodging and I am happy to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Reno area . I will come back when in Reno

Very clean hotel. First class management and staff. Manager Krysslyn and the GM were both very nice to us. Great front desk staff. Very clean and Sanitized hotel. Saw numerous staff members cleaning and disinfecting made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely stay again

I had fond memories of my previous stays at this property. The property has since gone through several ownership/management changes and it seems they were for the worse. I have to compliment the check-in lady, check-in was probably the only part that was above average, she was welcoming, sweet and efficient. I wish I could compliment her by name, but they don't wear name tags. In fact there is not a single name of a manager, GM or any contact person anywhere in the front desk. In the slot "manager on duty" there is a label "front desk manager". No business cards on the front desk counter either. If a property/management hides and does not want to be contacted/known, it is usually for a bad reason. They did assign me a 2-bed suite (as requested), but since they were going through some renovations the suite could not be on top floor, it was on the second. Luckily, the suite above us was the one being renovated, so there was no noise from above during the night. Impressions of the hotel: unvacuumed hallways (they only vacuumed them after 4 nights), dirty elevator floor (never mopped in 6 nights), printer in business center without toner and paper, dirty and trashed Great Room for breakfast (never cleaned from previous night), overflowing trash bin at the entrance ... State of the suite: no paper towels in the kitchen, no radio/alarm clock on the nightstand (probably my first IHG property without one), the ceiling light in the vanity area did not work, only one small sauce pan, no large sauce pan, no frying pan, no strainer, the plate in the micro did not rotate, dirty stove top, greasy and unappeling fronts of kitchen cabinets, dishwasher only washed the lower shelf, no Social menu on the fridge, no pen and notepad in the suite ... Housekeeping: no service on one day whatsoever (even though I asked for Light Touch), the other day they gave us one shower towel for three guests in the room, one day they gave us body lotion, the other day they didn't, forgot to replenish the toilet paper ... Meeting any of the housekeeping members is not a pleasant experience, they appeared miserable working there. Front desk was polite, but not much of a help. The only thing they provided were fresh towels. The radio/alarm clock never made it to the suite (although promised), the lightbulb in the vanity was never changed ... Their reply was "I'll see what I can do", which usually meant nothing. Breakfast and social: they only provide small, desert plates, so each guest needs to use several of them, the orange juice was watery, the pastry and fruit were gone in the first minutes and never replaced, the food attendents disorganized and inefficient, not noticing any of the missing items, they were stingy with wine for the Social (prepared 4 small glasses), the Social was on the very weak side for Staybridge (very limited choice and no hot item on some days), the breakfast/Social kitchen area was a mess with all the boxes and stuff on the floor ... All in all I was sad to realize this property is in a downward spiral and unless there is a change in the way it is managed it will continue deteriorating. It does disservice to the Staybridge chain.

Our room was very clean but several things needed maintenance or to be replaced. The front desk was very kind and upgraded us to a one bedroom suite from a standard suite which we appreciated. The staff was always very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Housekeeping is only offered weekly and getting fresh towels or toilet tissue was an ongoing issue since we stayed for a week.
