We arrived in Vegas at 7pm on a Saturday night, as the last stop of a multi state road trip, with my wife. Vegas can be busy and moreso expected during weekends but this weekend, seem especially so. There was no Valet (was informed by the Linq security guard in the parking area that they close at 8pm, which perplexed me as it is only a bit passed 7pm) so the only way was to self-park. The same guard did not inform us early on as we traversed the multiple levels that they are full to capacity, as we went down, the same security guard tells us, we have to park at Harrahs instead. Harrahs is no better, as we ended up parking in the roof. Tired and with luggage in tow, we went to the elevator at the lot, only to find out that the elevator was not working, so had to go seven flights of stairs to get to the casino floor, go through and out and go through crowds (BLM and Armenian groups were protesting this evening, police were all over the place) and back into Linq. We then proceeded to go to check-in, which was automated, entered our info, got our keys, 20th floor, was excited to show my wife the room (booked one with the High Roller view through Hotels.com), and was surprised that the room we got has part of the Strip view. I called up the front desk to advise of a possible mix-up, and was told when booked at a third party site, all rooms given and offered are only standard rooms and "views" are only at request. I informed them that on the site, I paid extra for said "view". I then requested if I could be moved to one with the High Roller view, the agent said they don't have any available, she also said, "Go and complain to Hotels.com about it" and I wasted an hour trying to get a response from Hotels.com, only to be given a "here's a $30 credit voucher, it is the best we can offer you" when they did charge me for a room that was falsely misrepresented. The room was good, albeit the view lacking, bed was comfortable enough. Vegas is not what it is used to, the feeling of excitement is not there, and though there are some sketchy individuals roaming in the past, it is moreso pronounced nowadays with the current economic disarray and from Covid. Homelessness seems to have increased by a lot. Strippers take to the streets to do their hustles. What a nightmare.

I had relatively low expectations to be honest, but they were exceeded handily. The rooms are modern, comfortable, clean, and quiet. My particular room had a frosted window, so not sure what it overlooked, but it was fine for my needs. The casino is nice, good energy, and seemed to be good options for dining, though we didn't try any this time; will have to try Guy Fieri's place next time. The pool is on the small side but also good enough for someone not looking for a fancy pool experience. Now for the best part: the location is fantastic! Very well located on the Strip, and the food and bar options close by are great. Of course, also close to the High Roller for a cool (albeit probably one-time) experience. Will definitely be back!

Booked a table at the sports book. When I bought I was told it’s $100 food and beverage minimum not a problem when we showed up we were then told it was a $100 per person minimum . Ordred Irish coffee first one was correct order the second one it had no Bailey’s cream it came out black when I told the server I got well that’s how the bartender makes it we ordered a bottle of Vodka after she drop that off. we never saw her again she never came for a food order she never came to refill her mixers simply disappeared it’s kind of upsetting when you’re spending over $500 and kind of forced to to have such terrible service

Room was clean, and we got a nice view of pool, Only 2 bad calls since we had a room there we expected to have a parking space. Twice we were turned away and had to park in another location (next door) and walk a long way back to our room. This was hard when you have a lot of bags to carry due to shopping. The second one was I was ok with checking myself in but when you need customer service from behind the counter, the wait is over half an hour because there is only 1 person working there while there where 4 people working to clean and offer help with check in device. We decided on staying an extra night and didnt want to check out and check back in . Also was sticker shocked with the resort fee. 42. bucks a night.

I get that Covid hampers things but the lack of service and communication left me disappointed. Registration kiosks were not especially easy. We weren’t told we had to make reservations to use the pool, only to reserve a cabana or daybed so when we tried to use the pool, we were put on a waiting list and never called. With the pool closing at 6 pm, that seriously limits it’s use. When paying $42 a day in a resort fee on top of the daily rate, I would expect to use the amenities. The room was nice, clean and comfortable.
