Second time in Annapolis Junction for work and decided to stay here for a change. Glad I did as I like this place better than the Courtyard nearby (where I stayed before). This one has two facing 3-story buildings with plenty of parking, slight set back from the road so no noticeable traffic noise. The standard queen suite with sofa bed is very clean, everything - the A/C, TV, stove - in good working condition. The room, as studio/suites go, is not very big - small kitchen area, tiny bathroom with shower over tub, no dining table. Bed a bit soft with ok linens and slightly too bouncy pillows. Wall rather thin, you can definitely hear your neighbors although luckily they were not noisy. Wifi is excellent. Good breakfast, with a couple fo hot items, veggie patty and eggs, in addition to the usual cereal, packaged muffins, bagels, apples etc., which you just take to your room as there's no seating due to covid measures. All day coffee and tea self service (the hot water was lukewarm however so better just boiling water in the room).
For comparison with the Courtyard: this one doesn't have any public space, whereas the Courtyard has a lobby and restaurant. As furnishings go TownPlace maybe a bit more basic but the kitchen is a plus. Wifi is much better here (the other one didn't work at all last time). In terms of location, depending on where you need to go TownPlace is much closer - even walking distance - to many of the buildings in the business park as well as to a couple of food outlets (the Subway cafe has slightly longer opening hours).
