I waited in line to check-in for over an hour. Unfortunately, my child wet himself for fear of telling me and us losing our place in line for going to the bathroom! While checking in, I asked to be near another party traveling with my family in bldg 4 if possible. I was told nothing available in that area for me. I was given a rm in bldg 1. After being in my room for about an hour, a family member advised me, I was not in the type of room I reserved (an inside room). Instead I was given a motel style room! After calling guest services, I had to pack up all of my family's belongings and return to the front desk for a room change. Thankfully I waited in a separate line and received a new room after 15 minutes, compared to an hour. I never received an apology! However, I was given a room in bldg 4 (where I requested to be in the first place!) I received a text message from Jonathan after the first checkin but I'm unsure if that's the same person who put my family and I in the wrong room.
Additionally, the first room was dirty/grimy with bugs in it. There was a small opening in the bottom of the door where they were easily able to come in. The 2nd room was a tad bit cleaner and I felt a lot more safe. I will never refer your resort to anyone and I will never stay here again. This is unacceptable for Universal or any company to treat customers this way!
