Banyan Tree Lang Co

We have been staying for 7x nights in January 2021. Unfortunately the winter was lenghty and the weather was not so pleasant: light rain and cloudy sky during all the stay. On top of that the Covid has deprived the resort from international tourists. This said, we still had a great stay mainly because the staff was extremely dedicated and did everything possible for our stay to be enjoyful. We had our 2x kids with us: 5y + 7y. Locations: - Remote but you can still easily access Da Nang / Hue / Hoi An. —> Check transportation first if you intend to makes some tours (the resort has complementary shuttles but the rest of the transportation service will come at a cost - at least 1.5 mio VND for a day). - If you like nature: you will live the location: beach is litterally at your door step and cleaned. - The resort is surrounded by forest, hills, rice fields... - The golf is also at your doorstep and is magnificient. - You will not have any close convenience store (except the resort mini-mart), so plan accordingly in advance. - Room / Villas: In the middle of our stay, we got upgraded from the Angsana Suite to a Beach Villa. Not much to comment here: they will be up to your expectations !! Mini-kitchen / private pool / Jacuzzi...heater (if needed ;) - Activities: Could not try much because of the weather conditions but there are plenty to do (hoping to come back to try them !). There is a water center, a great kids club, a mini-river within the river for kayaking, a mini obstacle course loop, the golf, the spa; a HUGE pool. - Restaurants and food: Because of the Covid, only 2x restaurants out of 7x were open so after a week, we sort of knew the entire card. —> I guess that a full operations there are More than enough diversity ! The quality is good and the service is great (on our first day: they were running out of Nutella for the kids so the chef made one for us ;) —> You can even have your own BBQ in your villa (could not try it though). The price is a little bit steep but that is expected in a resort and also because of the remote locations. —> You will see a big difference when having a Meal in Hue... —> You also have the possibility to cook some simple things by yourself. In summary: if you have been staying at Banyan Tree / Angsana, you will not be disappointed and will not be surprised by the price tag. —> It is an excellent resort for family stays & we will definitely come back once the sun is out ;)

I recently spent a few days at the Banyan tree I’ve been there before but decided to go this time of year as an exception, as expected it was very wet and and cold , which actually I like, especially watching the stormy sea however this stay was no different to my expectations and as ever the courteous professional friendly staff went the extra mile to assist and make my short stay enjoyable.

I spent a few days relaxing at this resort however I could not utilise everything because of the bad weather that currently prevailed the staff are very courteous and professional the rooms are well laid out and suffice. I definitely must return when the weather is better.

Although the weather and the objective situation were not favorable when the road to the resort had problems, but Banyan Tree tried very hard to overcome to help us have an unforgettable experience on this trip. The male staff members took a long way to main road to pick up and help us. We were really touched when Mr. Leslie (one of Banyan Tree's manager) also there to help us carry our luggage into the resort. We really appreciate it because as Vietnamese people often say: "Only when there are tribulations, we know each other's hearts". The staff (Ms. Ngan, Dao, Hien ...) there are extremely friendly, kind and enthusiastic to help us with everything during the vacation. So, there no reason that we won't be back Banyan Tree. Thanks for everything!

The staffs were friendly and cute. Ngoc, a staff took a photo of us and printed it, that was a nice touch. She also wrote nice notes for us in the room. The DIY bbq in villa was extremely fun to do. Side note, I would recommend the staff to put all furniture back very day when they come and clean the room, to make everything brand new. Overall I had I would love to come back.
