This hotel has excellent location and neat rooms. This hotel is basic, but it's not flashy. But for those who don't want to sit in their rooms, it's all you need.

The hotel seems a bit worn, especially compared to the nearby sparkling new grand plaza. The restaurant has alcohol but not as close to the grand plaza. My waiter gave me a change of coins anticipating a healthy tip. Much better for food is the friendly and popular Portuguese

The hotel's reputation as Girassol makes things a little confusing. It appears to be a business hotel and is one of the few options in Ampule Town. Even though the hotel is still quite decent, the quality is less than it was marketed. The staff is always willing to be helpful. The free wifi was inconsistent and didn't work properly farther from the reception area. The location at the First floor of a business center is not very convenient, particularly because the breakfast restaurant was on the First floor and there was only one elevator in common use with every other office in the building.

We stayed here for one night and then switched to the nearby residential universe, which was much nicer, cleaner, and less expensive. This location was not terrible, but it was incredibly expensive for what it offered. The room was small, somewhat dark, dark, drab inside, not particularly clean, and smelled strongly of vinegar. The staff was pleasant, the wifi worked well, and breakfast was decent, but it wasn't worth 55 USD per night.
