We stayed here a few different times in our travels in North Vietnam and booked the Executive Room which was really nice. Very quiet considering it faces a busy Hanoi old quarter road. Very large with separate sitting area and terrace (which we couldn’t use because the weather wasn’t great any of the days we were there), mini fridge, and a bottle of wine. The service was excellent. The front desk helped us with instructions, places to eat, a fantastic massage, booking whatever we needed. We left our packs there for our trip to Sapa. They do not put them in a secure, locked room but in the lobby area where there is someone 24 hours. Wasn’t an issue but some may not be comfortable with it. The only complaint we have is the breakfast. We were never there late and the choices weren’t very good, almost gone, and cold when they should be hot.
We also got a regular room once when we arrived very early back from Sapa so we could sleep and have somewhere to go at 7:00 in the morning. Nice spacious room, very quiet but no windows (which we didn’t mind for the time we were there).
