The whole experience is amazing. The room structure is connected with eco friendly in every single details. We love the bathtub with the forest view, extremly relaxing and peace. Even the location is in the high real jungle but the hotel is very well maintain. The staff are very friendly and helpful during our stay. On the last day, we fall in love with the infinity pool. Definitly will come back on summer.

We are a group of 5 families stayed at the resort last weekend. Like many stays before, we still love the truly fresh air and landscape of the resort, especially at night and early morning. But besides that, our experience is basically unacceptable for what we pay. 1. Basically, the staff's first response to any of our requests was "no, we couldn't do that". It's raining when we drove by, and we have 9 children range from 1 to 9 years old. I asked if the buggy can take all the children to the villa first, but the receptionist denied, and asked us to come all into the reception area before giving us key rooms and taking us to the villa. At other 5-star resort we have stayed, they often offer in-villa checkin with that such big group. 2. The buggy driver simply sat on the buggy and speak on the phone when I picked our luggage with one hand holding the umbrella. 3. The waiting time for the buggy is normally about 20-30 minute. The answer was always "we are in shortage of the buggies". So why don't you have more? They even didn't call back when I waited for 1 hour and chose to walked to the parking area. 4. When I asked to talk to the resort's manager, the staff asked for my cellphone number and promised the manager will call me back. But no one ever called me back. 5. We are provided only one key for each room. With many children, sometimes the door was locked with the key was inside on the electric hook. When we asked for one more key, the answer was "that is the resort policy to provide only one key to each room". 6. This is maybe the only 5-star resort that asks guest to pay for capsule coffee in the room. 7. The Senses restaurant had not enough table for guest coming for breakfast. 8. We had 30 minute spa benefits for each adult during our stay. But it's very difficult to book, due to "shortage of spa slot". So why did you sell it as a benefits if you could not deliver it? And we paid nearly 30 million vnd for the overall experience of "asking and being gently refused".

A perfect holiday with our newborn - Nhung at the front desk is an absolute superstar. She is a problem solver and genuinely works to ensure the guests have all their needs met. The place was GORGEOUS and there were trails to walk and look at the old french ruins. My family and I had a wonderful time. The food was good but I wished we had a few more simple options. What really makes the place stand out for me was the customer service and how welcoming everyone made us feel. If my extended family and friends are able to visit, I would most certainly bring them back to Melia Ba Vi. Kudos to the hospitality team for doing such a good job!

It was very comfortable to be there. The staffs were very helpful and friendly that made me feel like I was home. I absolutely come back next time and introduce this place to my friens. Thank you very much for your kindness.

Looking for a fresh and short escape from the city? In less than 2 hours you will get there! Looking for a Luxurious retreat experience? Only the price will be close to the luxurious experience... Almost 7 million vnd for 1 night and 2 meals, knowing that the hotel offered us the lunch before we left the place... Although the staff is great and welcoming, the experience in the room and restaurants is not even close to the price proposed. 1) No working aircon during winter: First thing we had to do when we arrived is to re-pack our luggages again after had asked 2 times to the staff about our non working aircon... a bit of warm would be appreciated when you arrive in your room. But no, hence we packed our luggage and tell the receptionist we can’t stay in this room (you can picture us with our kids under 2 years old after the ride from Ha Noi). 2) Costly diner: Ordered few vegetables plates and some meat for 2 people and our 2 kids under 2 > almost 1,8 Million vnd... 😨😓 -500 k for a plate of meat? -250 k for a plate of vegetable? -250 k for service charge and taxes? I didn’t see any « fine gourmet experience » written at the entrance of the restaurant, quality of the food is not worth the price: This is not reasonable. 3) Horrible Mattress: Not sure how old was the mattress, the springs were literally going out of the mattress... I am not even talking about the fact that you will dive deeply in the middle of the bed once you try to lie on it. 4) No privacy: Don’t expect to have some privacy with your girl, your neighbour might hear every single move you will do! A very thin wood panel is separating the 2 rooms villa on top of the wall... we could hear every single time our neighbours went in and out, when they laughed, or had some discussion!! 5) No hot water on the next morning: Would you take cold shower for your kids while it’s 15 degrees outside? Would ask to change the room while you are supposed to check out in 2 hours? We used the water cattle to make some hot water and take shower.I had better experience when I was camping 😅🥲. 6) No working phone: How can you call the room service to understand why there is no water if the phone is not working... this is unbelievable.😓. 7) Coffee? Last but not least, capsule coffee in the room were not complementary... Are you serious??? 🤨🤣 8)Loosing time: After 4 months I still feel frustrated about these 24 hours experience and I am loosing 1 hour to write that review!!!!
