Nothing to complain about with Rising Dragon Legend - the location in the Old Quarter is great (though I don't love the nightlife in the old quarter, it's a bit rowdy). We actually stayed twice during our trip to Vietnam and it was one of our favorite hotels. The rooms were very clean, and more than adequately spacious considering the price point. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and their English was some of the best we encountered. The only drawback is their strong desire to arrange tours and transports - they were very interested in selling us travel packages. They went as far as to try to paint the train as an inconvenient mode of transport, saying that the limo bus offers door-to-door service while the train requires us to take a taxi on either end. Taxis to the train station are about 60,000 VND, and the train to Ninh Binh was 77,000 VND per person, compared to the limo bus's 400,000 (and limited schedule - we wanted to arrive to Ninh Binh as early as possible and the limo couldn't get us there before noon - by train we arrived at 8:15am).
