After having stayed in various “Homestays” in the counter side with precarious hot water and limited English, this modern hotel provided us with the feeling of being back in the comfort zone before going home.
Some may say the facilities are outdated etc but it’s all relative. This hotel is a good segue to/from the occidental “normal” if I may and the reality of a developing travel destination such as Vietnam.
In any case with the luxury of a lift (!!!) and all front staff speaking good English and being professional, competent and helpful, we were very happy with our choice to stay here.
Again in terms of facility, this is an average middle range hotel with basic comfort, but it is clean, comfortable, very firm beds just like we like it and especially at a great location.
The prices of their services are actually good. I had almost run out of cash so told them I wished to pay with a credit card. They warned me about the credit card payment fee and even suggested that I compare fees with the nearby ATM. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that their airport ride was cheaper than that of an equivalent ride with a Grab!
All in all an excellent value for money. Recommended to travelers who do not dare stay in backpacker dorms or who are with children, looking for a smooth transition to/from a new country.
Especially appreciated the complimentary coffee in the lobby, with works magic after having walked all day around the hustle-bustle of the old quarter.
