located in a strategic position to view Lake Kariba during day and night. Allows access to the beach with ease. It gives a relaxing atmosphere especially if you want to relax and rejuvenate energy. Friendly staff are always as your service.

A place away from home It felt like home, overlooking the mighty lake Kariba. At night I met lots of elephants and hippopotamus whilst during the day I saw very big Baboons. I believe my room was the best of them all, made me feel like a King. The resort is unique with its rustic finishing on buildings and well manned gardens

Caribbean Bay almost has it all when it comes to the location and set up of the hotel. It's one of the few places you can actually relax. The views from the rooms and the dining area are just awesome. The design of the hotel is also really nice and does look like a Caribbean Resort. The staff a quite friendly and are easy to talk to. In terms of meals, we only had breakfast there and it was ok. The other meals were quite pricey so we would eat elsewhere. The one thing they need to work on are the rooms. They are really dated and need to be revamped. Besides that it's a place I would visit again.

We spent 3 nights after Christmas. The accommodation was fair but was disappointed with the food. It is the same menu for the last 2 years. Breakfast was pathetic. Only 2 choices of fruit. You pick orange or watermelon and the pancakes undercooked.

The property is still in good shape, unfortunately the family rooms need attention especially the water paddles as a result of using the showers. A little attention in the bathroom areas will quickly solve this otherwise everything else including the pool facilities and restaurants was on point.
