Had a brief overnight stay. The reception was warm and the staff were pleasant and very helpful, the food was awesome and the portions were very very very generous. The place looks great especially at night the ambience is unparalleled, rooms are clean and have new furniture and linen. We woke up with a flat tyre and the concerned staff quickly helped us change it. Will definitely visit again

The trip was so refreshing. The lodge is so tranquil,has beautiful views,serves great food and has friendly, professional staff. Our tour guide Tawanda was enthusiastic and well read. So much energy from the whole team and the premises were always so clean. Shout out to Tatenda, Bridget, Clive and the mixologist at the bar. Everyone should experience this at least once in a lifetime.The view from the top after the hike was well worth the effort. Truly breathtaking.

I had an amazing safari experience, with so much tranquillity and hospitality overload. Matobo Hills Lodge had been on my bucket list for years, I have no regrets. It's a pity I was working full time, I could have done so much more. I was also a solo traveller but not once did I feel lonely, the staff kept me entertained and engaged. The meals were scrumptious, the cocktails refreshing, the game drive and visit to the caves and Rhodes grave were exceptional moments, Bheki is the best - I learnt so much! I would love to return and do much more!

We had the most beautiful weekend. The staff was friendly, well-mannered and awesome vibes from the welcome drinks at the bar to the room service. The room was perfect, food and drinks to die for. Matobo Hills Lodge is the best place to visit, getaway from the urban life hustle and relax in nature..

i had the most amazing getaway with my friend at matobo hills lodge.it is a serene place and the most beautiful place l have ever visited in Zimbabwe.We had such a honor of learning so much history about the matebeleland tribes.The chef prepared special dishes for us which we still crave for up to today kkk .the staff were beyond the best .i loved every minute of it. many thanks to few of my friends ..TAWANDA ;TATENDA;ANDILE
