Guests are encouraged to contact the resort at least 7 days in advance for private land transfer arrangements. Kindly note that the room rates do not include transfers to Japamala Resort.
Alternatively, self-arrangement to Tioman Island is possible by driving or taking a land transfer from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore City to Mersing Jetty. Guests are required to self-purchase the public ferry ticket online by choosing Genting Jetty as the disembarking point on Tioman Island. Guests are encouraged to contact Japamala Resort at least 24 hours in advance for pick-up arrangements from Genting Jetty. The pick-up service can be arranged for a small fee. Kindly be informed that strictly no ad hoc pick-up arrangement is allowed. Japamala Resort is located around 10-minute boat ride from Genting Jetty. Kindly note that the public ferry does not stop in front of Japamala Resort.
