As a chain based on motorways in Spain. Tube sets a standard for which many hotels, let alone motels, in the uk should aim to emulate. There is ample parking that is greater than can be said of many establishments, a nice bar, and a good restaurant. The bedrooms are simple but big and clean with full width windows while all of the rooms have modern suites. The bedrooms are up a level and there are no lifts but I believe there is room available on the ground floor. Yes, there is a service station useful before heading to the coast and beyond, and yes lorries do park in their permitted area a little apart from the hotel. Tube is accessible from and serving the highway, but it is on its own secluded location a little to one side. If you're concerned about the thought, a room away from the front of the building could be requested. Tube is a convenient stopover on the way to Bilbo or Salander where you can have a decent dinner. Tube word is only accessible with ease from the north coast. If heading south, a similar establishment with a restaurant, but without hotel accommodation, tube sun, I advise trying to get off the motorway. On Monday 19 September, we stayed, on our way to the ferry.

We have been calling in for years on our way north to Bilbo ferry port, or Salander. Tube is handy and well placed for traveling on and we have praised it not just for ease of access but also for value for money and a decent restaurant and bar. Standards have drooped over the years, the restaurant has changed and the ground floor restoration promised much. But now a nadir has been reached. The restaurant may still have signage, but the restaurant it is no longer. Food is displayed in a long buffet-style heated cabinet with prices from not very much for a small cafe to ridiculous. No menu to look at, no descriptions for the offerings and just some staff behind the counter to get what the customer indicated for him then to carry their plates and find a table. The bar has expanded and now people can sit on elevated chairs at a bartop along the restaurant side while looking out and eating the diners. This restaurant had become gastronomic! unfortunately. The rooms are still spacious with safety, but are getting old with deteriorating floor tiles and ash trays in no smoking rooms? The room door numbers do not match the mandatory fire exit plans on display in the rooms! As for the prices we booked directly by phone and had a special offer that was twice what we could have booked online. So still convenient but no value for money or a decent restaurant.

Tube remains a good value for money, is ideally located for a showdown heading north to the ferry ports, has a bar and restaurant, and is clean as always with large rooms and contemporary suites. Even so, the standards previously high are a little less high. The staff is even less communicative, the breakfast is minimal, and the restaurant is now barely acceptable. It's a shame that it has been a pleasant enough playstation, and the buildings have only recently been successfully refurbished and renovated. Perhaps as a hotel needs to sort out the staff. We stayed on Monday with September.

Traveling from southern Spain to the ferry port in Bilbo or Salander for an early morning crossing can be difficult. No one wants to travel far from the main roads, but a comfortable hotel bed is a must. Good food and a place to relax. Well this hotel does it in all areas. Great place to stay, friendly staff, good food, right on the main road yet quiet. Highly recommended.

This is a motorway service area hotel. Very very difficult to access if you do y want to enter the toll motorway. No signage at all to find your way in or out

Not great experience in this Hotel… the room did had a broken air con, and they have swapped the room for other but make us feel like we are in debt… the breakfast was just 1 croissant, toast, juice and coffee. Nothing else we could pick from the restaurant. For a 24 hours open and doing food. Very disappointed. First and last time.
