Special Protocol

Before you travel, make sure you have checked and prepared travel requirements, such as a COVID-19 free certificate, visa suspension & quarantine rules at origin, transit/connection, and destination. 

In relation to the epidemic prevention policy, the Taiwan government temporarily bans all foreigners, including passengers traveling with visitor visas, resident visas to enter/transit at/via Taiwan until further notice. Exceptions applied to R.O.C. passport holders and Non- R.O.C. nationals with a valid Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) and the category allowed such as hired by a company, student, or spouse. Refund

Details of the refund conditions are as follows:

• For canceled/delayed flights, you can still get this refund and reissue option regardless of the issue date and flight date. Submission for this flight should be made before 30 April 2022

Open Ticket

Submission of Open Ticket for China Airlines must follow the conditions as follow:

Reschedule

• Reschedule/change fee will be waived.
• Waiver for reschedule/change fee permitted for one time only
• Fare differences and other additional charges (e.g. applicable taxes) will apply
• This should be done before your original date of travel
• Submission must be made at least 1 month before the initial flight
• Rescheduling conditions are subject to each airline policy and availability

Reroute

• Submitting a re-route can be done while using the same airline
• Submissions are made at the related airlines
• Reroute/change fee will be waived
• Waiver for reroute/change fee permitted for one time only
• Fare differences and other additional charges (e.g. applicable taxes) will apply
• This should be done before your original date of travel
• Reroute conditions are subject to each airline policies and availability
