Special Protocol

Before you travel, make sure you have checked and prepared travel requirements, such as a COVID-19 free certificate, visa suspension & quarantine rules at origin, transit / connection, and destination. 

  • Starting from December 1, 2020 until the time limit as informed, all passengers arriving or transit in Taiwan are required to provide a certificate of a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result issued within three working days prior to boarding the flight to Taiwan. Passengers from Indonesia are required to take a PCR Test at a hospital/laboratory that has been referred by the Ministry of Health. More information can be checked here and here.

On/before 17 May 2022 3 Sep 2021 - 1 Oct 2022 From/to Toronto/Chicago/ Houston (if there is cancellation from the airline/travel ban). On/before 31 Dec 2022 for direct flight & on/before 31 Oct 2022 for transfer flight.
On/before 20 Jul 2022 16 Jul - 31 Aug 2022 From/to London (if there is cancellation from the airline/travel ban). 1 year from the initial ticket issuance and the flight must be done on/before 11 Dec 2022.
On/before 15 Nov 2021 9 Sep 2021 - 28 Feb 2022 From/to Brisbane (if there is cancellation from the airline/travel ban). 1 year from the initial ticket issuance and the flight must be done on/before 30 Apr 2022.
On/before 28 Jun 2022 7 Jul - 31 Jul 2022 From/to Amsterdam (if there is cancellation from the airline/travel ban). 1 year from the initial ticket issuance and the flight must be done on/before 31 Oct 2022.
On/before 15 Aug 2022 27 Mar - 30 Sep 2022 From/to Shanghai (if there is cancellation from the airline/travel ban). 1 year from the initial ticket issuance and the flight must be done on/before 31 Oct 2022.

 

Reschedule

  • Reschedule/change fee will be waived.
  • Waiver for reschedule/change fee permitted for one time only
  • Fare differences and other additional charges (e.g. applicable taxes) will apply
  • The most recent flight date does not exceed 1 year from the initial ticket issuance
  • Rescheduling conditions are subject to each airline's policies and availability

 

Reroute

  • Submitting a re-route can be done while using the EVA / UNI Air only.
  • Submissions are made at the related airlines
  • Fare differences and other additional charges (e.g. applicable taxes) will apply
  • Reroute conditions are subject to each airline's policies and availability
