Immigration Process

Departure

  1. Ensure that the passenger's checked baggage and carry-on luggage meet the flight's safety and security requirements.
  2. It is recommended to arrive at the airport early to avoid flight delays. For domestic flights, check-in opens two hours before the scheduled departure time, as determined by the airline.
  3. Pay attention to the departure terminal designated for their airline.
  4. Enter the departure terminal through the first Security Check Point.
  5. Monitor the flight information screens to easily locate the check-in counters assigned to their flight.
  6. Complete the check-in process by presenting the flight documents, such as the passenger's ticket and identification, and submitting their checked baggage.
  7. Passengers are encouraged to double-check issued boarding pass provided by the airline staff before leaving the check-in counter.
  8. Proceed to the departure area by passing through the second Security Check Point.
  9. It is expected for the passengers to be present in the designated departure lounge 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Arrival

Once the passengers have landed, make sure to follow the designated path for arrivals. The passengers should look for signs indicating "Baggage Claim" and follow them until they reach the designated area. In that area, they can retrieve their checked baggage. However, if they don't have any checked baggage, they have the choice to proceed directly to the arrival exit gate and continue their journey.

For foreign nationals:

  1. The passengers should have their passport and other immigration documents ready, including visa if necessary.
  2. Prepare a Vaccination Certificate if the foreign national has visited an endemic area within 6 days prior to arrival in Indonesia.
  3. Join the designated queue for Foreign Nationals.

An immigration autogate lane is available for passengers with e-passport facilities.

Once the immigration process is finished, the passengers should proceed to the baggage conveyor area to retrieve their luggage, and then continue with the customs clearance process. Detailed customs procedures can be found here. After completing the entire process, the passengers are free to proceed to the international arrival exit.

Note:

For transit passengers, it is necessary for them to go through the immigration and customs baggage procedures before they can proceed to check-in for their onward flight departure.
