General Requirement
As of July 5, 2023, the COVID-19 entry requirements for the Philippines remain in place, including the requirement to be fully vaccinated and to have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result.
The Philippines Department of Health has not announced any plans to lift the COVID-19 entry requirements at this time. These requirements include:

- Negative COVID-19 test result: Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result obtained within 48 hours before their departure for the Philippines. The test result must be in English or Filipino and issued by a laboratory approved by the Philippine government.
- Travel insurance: Passengers must have travel insurance that covers medical expenses and repatriation.
Transit Requirements
According to the official website of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), here are the transit requirements for passengers transiting through NAIA in 2023:
- Valid passport: Passengers must possess a valid passport that remains valid for at least 6 months after their intended departure date from the Philippines.
- Visa: If a visa is required for transit through the Philippines, passengers must have it with them upon arrival at the airport.
- Immigration form: Passengers will need to complete an immigration form upon their arrival in the Philippines.
- COVID-19 documentation: Passengers must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and a negative COVID-19 PCR test result obtained within 48 hours prior to departure for the Philippines.
- Other documentation: Additional documentation, such as a letter of invitation or a copy of the hotel reservation, may be requested.
Failure to provide all the necessary documentation may result in denial of transit through the Philippines.
