General Requirements
As of June 2022, all travelers are no longer required to show a vaccination, recovery, or test certificate upon arrival to Italy. All travelers can enter Italy without quarantine. Most Italy travel restrictions have been lifted as of May 1 for activities inside the country. See regional restrictions here and regional zone classifications here.
Documents Requirements
The Italy Border Police officer will request the passengers' passports or identity cards along with any required supporting documents for their visit. The passengers are advised to have their boarding passes and travel documents prepared, opened to the photo page, and proceed to the designated line based on their passport type:
- EU/EEA/CH passports
- Other passports (for Non-EU Nationals)
- Passport
- Schengen Visa
