General Requirement

Starting from February 13th, 2023, passengers entering Singapore no longer need to adhere to any COVID-19 protocols, regardless of their vaccination status or traveler profile. However, it is important for passengers to comply with all other general entry requirements below:

 

Immigration Requirements

  • Starting April 1, 2023, passengers who have recently recovered from COVID-19 will no longer be exempted from the temporary vaccination requirements for COVID-19.
  • Passengers who are not Singapore passport holders should ensure that their passport is valid for at least six months from the date of travel.
  • Passengers from visa-required countries/regions must obtain a visa before traveling to their destination.
  • Passengers have to make sure they do not carry any prohibited items when entering Singapore.
  • Short-term travel passengers should carry enough cash and provide evidence of onward travel (tickets, visas), and ensure they do not exceed the validity of their visit pass.
    • Please retrieve the e-Pass via the e-Pass Enquiry Portal or check their visit pass validity using the visit pass validity tool.

 

Transit Requirements

  • In order to be classified as a Transit Passenger, travelers must meet the following criteria:
    • Have both flights booked under the same booking itinerary.
    • Have their check-in luggage tagged-through from the origin airport to their final destination.
  • It is recommended that passengers consult the relevant authorities of their destination country/region to determine the specific requirements for transiting through Singapore.
    • Kindly be informed that pre-departure COVID-19 testing services are unavailable in the transit area of Changi Airport.

 Preparation Before Departure

  • All passengers entering Singapore must submit an SG Arrival Card. For convenience, passengers can fill out forms up to three days before departure time, except:
    • Those transiting/transferring through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance; and
    • Residents travelling through the land checkpoints. 
  • Check-in online through the airline's official website or using the airline's mobile app.
  • Check the applicable travel restrictions before ordering a ticket.

 

At the Airport

Upon arrival in Singapore, passengers are required to present the following to the immigration officer at the immigration counter:

  • Travel documents of the passenger.
  • SG Arrival Card (PDF download) or the acknowledgment email (in either printed or digital format) received upon declaration, which will be sent to the passenger's email address.
