General Requirements
The Federal Council has lifted all measures related to the corona pandemic. Anyone entering Switzerland no longer has to present proof of vaccination, recovery or negative tests. Filling out the entry form is no longer required.
However, the general requirements at ZRH Airport in 2023 are as follows:
- All passengers must have a valid passport and visa, if required.
- Passengers must check-in their luggage at least 2 hours before their flight departure time.
- Passengers must go through security screening before boarding their flight.
- Passengers must arrive at their gate at least 30 minutes before their flight departure time.
- Passengers must wear a face mask in all public areas of the airport.
- Passengers must follow the instructions of airport staff.
Documents Requirements
The Switzerland Border Police officer will request the passengers' passports or identity cards along with any required supporting documents for their visit. The passengers are advised to have their boarding passes and travel documents prepared, opened to the photo page, and proceed to the designated line based on their passport type:
- EU/EEA/CH passports
- Other passports (for Non-EU Nationals)
- Passport
- Schengen Visa
