• Effective on October 13, 2022, inbound passengers no longer need to undergo quarantine. However, it is mandatory to self-monitor for 7 days. During self-monitoring, passengers are allowed to go out except to hospital and medical purposes.

• Passengers must use access to the Quarantine System via a smartphone to register and fill out a health declaration form prior to their departure.

• Passengers with an Alien Resident Certificate without a negative COVID-19 test result issued at most 2 days before departure from the first embarkation point:

  • must complete an "Entry Quarantine Affidavit" before departure available at;

  • are subject to an LAMP, NAAT, PCR, RNA, RT-LAMP and RT-PCR test upon arrival at their own expense.

• Passengers must have a confirmed booking of quarantine facility or hotel.

• Passengers arriving on a direct flight from China (People's Rep.) are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival and self-isolation for 7 days.

Transit Policy

• Passengers take both feeder and connecting flights operated by same airline group issued in one ticket.
• Transiting from/to Mainland China is not allowed (Hong Kong and Macao are not included).
• All passengers are allowed to leave the waiting area to eat or shop inside the Taoyuan terminal during transit.

• "SPECIAL ENTRY PERMIT FOR COVID-19 OUTBREAK" visas issued to nationals of Indonesia with "FL" stated on remarks which expired between 4 December 2020 and 4 May 2021 are considered valid until 31 May 2022.
