What is Flight Refund feature?

Flight Refund is a feature provided by tiket.com for submitting a cancellation of domestic and international flights through desktop, mobile web, and tiket.com app. Now you don’t need to worry if your plan got cancelled, with the Flight Refund feature, you can get a refund in a few quick and easy steps!

How to submit a Flight Refund request from the desktop?

1. Open tiket.com website on desktop and login to your account. Choose the “My Order” menu, go to “Flights” tab, then select the booking that you want to cancel. Point the cursor to the three dots button on the top right to find "Refund" option.

 

2. Click on the three dots button on the right side of the flight booking that you want to cancel and click “Refund” button. If you book with the Worry-Free feature, the button shows as “Worry-Free Refund.” Make sure that your order is refundable based on each airline’s policy. If not, then the button will appear inactive.

 

3. Double-check your flight details including the departure date and route. If everything is correct, click continue to proceed. If you have more than one flight in one booking ID, you can choose the flight route that you want to refund.

 

4. Give your refund reason by selecting on one of the options given. Click continue to proceed.

 

5. Choose the passenger details that you want to cancel and specify the most relevant refund reason. Click "Continue".

 

6. Review your cancellation request and estimated refund amount. Your refund estimation for the flight that you have selected will appear complete with the details and the refund method. Read the Terms and Conditions, tick to agree then click “Continue" to submit your refund request.

 

7. Your refund submission is completed! Click “Check Refund List” or “Go to My Order” to see your refund progress and status. The refund process takes 14 days from the date the submission is received for domestic flights (except AirAsia) and up to 90 business days for international flights or determined otherwise by the airline.

 

8. You can track your submitted refund by clicking on each flight order and see the refund status, which will appear Requested, On Process, or Refunded. You will receive a notification if your refund submission has been completed or rejected.

  • If your travel date is in less than 72 hours, requests will be processed maximum of 72 hours.
  • If your travel date is in more than 72 hours, requests will be processed within 72 hours of the travel date.
  • If you have requested a refund for the travel date that has passed, you will be contacted by email in 72 hours.
