1. What is Stay Protection and Home Protection?
Stay Protection and Home Protection are Insurance Products made specifically for users of tiket.com that provides protection for unexpected events such as accidents or inconveniences that occur while you are staying at the hotel, such as: booking cancellation, loss of booking reservation, loss or damage to personal items, evacuation due to force majeure, tenant / guest liability, also damage to the Insured’s house due to disasters or robbery. You can also buy additional Home Protection while buying Stay Protection, with the protection period starting from the Insured check-in until next 7 (seven) calendar days.
2. How can I purchase Stay Protection and Home Protection?
The Insurance Product can be purchased when booking a hotel room through www.tiket.com, m.tiket.com or tiket.com application (IOS & Android).
3. Who can purchase Stay Protection and Home Protection?
The Insurance Product is applicable for Indonesia Citizens (WNI) or foreign citizens (WNA) with the age of at least of 3 (three) months and/or at the most of 75 (seventy-five) years at the time of stay period. Foreign Citizens (WNA) that can be covered this protection is the one who has Passport or KITAS/KITAP (Kartu Ijin Tinggal Terbatas/Tetap). For children under the age of 18 (eighteen) years, they must be accompanied by family or people who have the authority to accompany the child while stays.
4. How much premium do I have to pay to get Stay Protection and Home Protection?
The Insurance Premium would depend on the location (domestic or international), number of guest, number of rooms and number of nights of your hotel booking from www.tiket.com, m.tiket.com or tiket.com application (IOS & Android). Where for room with a capacity of more than 2 Insured adults + children, a prorate premium will be calculated. The premium that you pay in the order form is the total price of insurance premium and administrative cost which is final.
5. Can I add Stay Protection benefits?
No. Your Stay Protection benefits is a fixed benefit insurance and cannot be added/enhanced. Except for the Home Protection, you can add for an additional coverage by paying an additional premium.
6. What are Stay Protection and Home Protection benefits?

7. I booked a hotel room at tiket.com, but I missed to buy the Stay Protection and Home Protection. Can I buy it separately?
No. Stay Protection and Home Protection can only be purchased at the same time as booking a hotel room.
8. I must cancel my hotel room reservation. Will I get a refund for My insurance?
Stay Protection and Home Protection can be cancelled but there will be no refund insurance premium for any reason. Please make sure You read and understand the insurance terms and conditions before purchasing this Insurance Product.
9. How can I submit a claim?
Claim submission can be done through Great Eastern General Insurance customer claim contact center at 021-5723737 ext. 204/223 (Monday – Friday at 09.00 AM – 05.00 PM, except Public Holiday) or go to https://www.cermati.com/pusatklaim/tiket-hotel/hotel/.
10. Is there a timeline for submitting a claim?
The claims must be submitted from the Insured no later than 7 (seven) calendar days after the date of the accident or as soon as possible after the accident occurred accompanied by claim documents and/or other evidence required by Great Eastern General Insurance to facilitate the process of claim verification. All costs incurred in obtaining documents or evidence are the responsibility of the Insured.
11. How much time needed to process a claim payment?
Payment will be processed within 7 (seven) working days after the claim is approved by Great Eastern General Insurance.
