Hello, t-mates! If you often travel by train, there is important news you need to know—GAPEKA 2025 will be implemented by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) starting February 1 2025! GAPEKA, or Train Travel Chart, is a system that manages train travel schedules throughout Indonesia. With the implementation of GAPEKA 2025, there are many changes that will make travel more comfortable and efficient.

One of the main changes is the construction of a double track by the Ministry of Transportation's DJKA, which allows smoother and more efficient travel. Apart from that, KAI also added several new passenger trains and goods trains, providing more travel choices for you. There are also route extensions, such as the Kreunggeukeuh-Kutablang-Muara Satu route, as well as accelerated train travel times, so you can reach your destination faster.

Not only that, there were 17 additional trips on the island of Java and 2 trips on Sumatra. With these various improvements, the train riding experience in Indonesia will be even more comfortable and efficient. How to check train schedules at tiket.com

You can easily check the train schedule and order tickets via tiket.com. Here are the steps:

Open the tiket.com application or site.
Select the train ticket menu, then enter the station of origin, destination and departure date.
Fill in the number of passengers, then click search.

You will see the complete economy and other class train schedules. If you have found a suitable schedule, proceed to order, fill in your personal data, select a seat, and complete payment. After that, the e-ticket will be sent directly to your email or can be accessed in the "Your Orders" menu in the tiket.com application.

With tiket.com, accessing today's train schedule is easier and more practical.

Take a train from different stations

Illustration if you want to take a train from a different station,

Allow:

If you board from the station which is located after the departure station stated on the ticket
For example, if you take the Parahyangan train connecting Gambir Station - Bandung Station, the ticket says it departs from Gambir Station, so boarding from Bekasi Station is allowed.
You can get on from the station without needing to reschedule. However, you must pay attention to the train departure time from that station

Not Allow:

If you board from the station that is located before the departure station stated on the ticket.
For example, you take the Parahyangan train connecting Gambir Station - Bandung Station, the ticket says Bekasi Station, and want to board from the previous station (Gambir)
You can't get up from that station, and you can reschedule to get up from the station you want.
